I spent a couple hours on Monday working on the coding sheets. It didn't take me that long necessarily to figure out what was going on but I did some research on the issues of same-sex marriage within Christianity. There is some really interesting information out there on the topic. Since we wont have time to interview people of different religions I think we should still look for that information. We can go to the church's websites and search same-sex marriage and see what comes up as far as beliefs and everything else.
We also have to remember that we have to show how framing is involved in all of this so we have to think of a way to include that while also researching the topic.
I got the binder and sheet protectors and some paper for the coding sheets and cartoons. I'll print out the cartoons tomorrow and put those on the paper and we'll go over all the coding sheets in our meeting on Thursday. Speaking of that, I reserved the same room (143) in the library from 4:30-6:30 for us.
Braden and I are going to get together tomorrow around 9:30 to work on the project some more and talk about the different ideas he has come up with for the team cartoon.
