Cold calling

I've been trying to contact various faiths in the valley, usually by phone.  I haven't made any appointments yet, but I'm going to try again tomorrow around noon. Here's generally what I said in emails and in messages left on voicemail.

Hi, my name is Steve Kent. I'm a Journalism and Communications major at USU. Currently, I'm working on an in-class group project about how the media cover homosexuality and religion. My group feels that the official policies and teachings of many religious faiths have not been adequately represented in the mainstream media. My group is recording video interviews with spokespersons for various faiths in our community. Could we meet sometime this week and interview you for about half an hour on your church's policy regarding homosexuality? We are usually available any time after 6 o'clock in the evening, but if another time works better for you, we should be able to work it out. Thank you very much.

Here are the organizations I've tried contacting so far.
