Possible interview questions

Here are some questions I've thought about asking in our interviews. Let me know what you think-- is it too wordy, or too strict a format? Do you have any suggestions for other questions, or changes to be made to these questions? Of course, for organizations like the Baha'i Faith and the Islamic Center, we may have to modify the wording of the questions and replace the word "church" if needed.
  1. What is your church's full name?
  2. Is your church a part of a larger organization?
  3. When was your church established in Cache Valley?
  4. About how large is your congregation?
  5. What is your title?
  6. Does your church have any official teaching or stance regarding homosexuality?
  7. Does your church have any official teaching or stance regarding homosexual individuals?
  8. Do you ever mention homosexuality in a teaching context, such as a sermon to a congregation? How often?
  9. If so, how often (if ever) do you speak with your congregation about how to interact with homosexual individuals?
  10. If so, what is your council?
  11. Does your church have any policy about same-sex marriage? If so, on what grounds are your policies based?
